Affirmative has developed a cutting edge electronic payment application that electronically invoices Payors for products purchased or services rendered, enabling the Payor to authorize an electronic payment to the Payee via the ACH Network for next day settlement.

Payee Benefits (One to whom money is paid): Payees save the time and expense of producing paper invoices, postage to mail invoices, increased cash flow through faster payments, lower bad debt factors by receiving payment prior to shipment, and lower collection costs through improved payment processing.

Payor Benefits (A person who pays; The person by whom a note or bill has been or should be paid): Payors save time and money processing payments, postage to mail payments, and potential incentive discounts offered by Payees to participate in the process. This is a leading technology product that brings affordable Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment Services to consumers and businesses.

Here's How It Works:

  • The Payee generates an electronic invoice and emails it to the business or consumer.
  • The electronic email invoice instructs the business or consumer to "click here" to pay the invoice electronically via the ACH Network.
  • The “click here” button brings up a screen asking for the Payor’s banking information and establishing a link between Payor and Payee’s financial institutions. An electronic payment instruction is transmitted based on the terms and conditions agreed upon.
  • Settlement occurs with Payee’s account being credited and Payor’s account being debited typically within 24 hours.

Automated Clearing House Network

The ACH Network is a highly reliable and efficient nationwide batch-oriented electronic funds transfer system governed by the NACHA OPERATING RULES, which provide for the interbank clearing of electronic payments for participating depository financial institutions.

ACH Flow

Receiver = Checkwriter > Originator = Merchant > ODFI = Merchant's ACH Processing Bank > ACH = Automated Clearing House > RDFI = Checkwriter's Bank

High Security: Affirmative's software and Internet applications employs SSL, 128 bit encrypted transmissions. This meets the highest standard of the government's current requirements.

Even Higher Login Security: Affirmative Technologies is among the first to offer enhanced security measures with its ACH processing applications by including Biometric Security Systems protection as a part of the end-user login process. Things that a person knows, such as passwords and pin-numbers, can be forgotten, stolen, and/or duplicated. Instead, biometrics relies on "who" a person is-on a unique immutable human characteristic that cannot be lost, forgotten, stolen or duplicated, an individual's fingerprint. Biometrics provides the ultimate level of security, convenience, and ease of use.
